ÇEKÜL Academy
ÇEKÜL Academy was founded in 2009, as a subsidiary of ÇEKÜL Foundation, one of the leading heritage NGOs in Turkey, working to build and mobilize a nation-wide network for the preservation of the urban and rural, built and natural environment. The Academy designs and delivers training solutions along two lines.  A group of courses cover contemporary concepts in cultural heritage management, conservation and urban planning in historic towns and are offered to a new generation of heritage professionals working for local governments in more than 350 localities. The Academy also offers corporate and personal development programs which make use of heritage as a learning material in training activities and call attention to heritage and identity issues within a global urban setting.
